Condition & Value
Condition Grade
Very Good (CGC 4.0)
Condition Details
The most significant defect is a large red circular price sticker or label on the right side of the cover. Substantial horizontal stress lines and creases are visible across the spine. The cover shows significant gloss loss and surface wear, including some white scuffing or color rubbing near the bottom left corner. Corners show visible blunting and wear.
Estimated Market Value
Raw: $1.00 - $3.00 | Graded (9.8): $35 - $45
Recent Sales
Recent raw copies in better condition have sold for $2-$5. High-grade graded copies typically sell for the cost of grading plus a small premium due to the abundance of copies from this era.
Grading Recommendation
Not recommended for professional grading. The comic's market value is lower than the cost of grading fees. The presence of the sticker and significant spine wear would result in a mid-to-low grade.
Notable Features
Crossover event with Milestone Comics; first part of the 'Worlds Collide' storyline. Features Superman (Clark Kent) with his 1990s long hair style.
Authentication Notes
The comic appears to be an authentic 1994 direct market edition. The printing quality, paper aging, and logo placement (DC and Milestone) are consistent with legitimate copies of this era.
