Estimated Market Value

Raw: $30 - $55; Graded (CGC 6.0): $100 - $130

Recent Sales

Recent sales for mid-grade raw copies (VG/FN) range from $35 to $50. CGC 9.0+ copies have reached $200+, but mid-grade slabs remain stable around $120.

Grading Recommendation

Not recommended for professional grading at this current estimated grade (6.0). The cost of grading and shipping would likely equal or exceed the value added. Only worth grading if a professional press and clean could bump the grade to an 8.0 or higher.

Notable Features

Features a crossover with the Scarecrow. Part of the 'DC Comics Salutes the Bicentennial' branding header. Includes early 10-digit UPC barcode on the lower left, which was still relatively new for comics in 1976.

Authentication Notes

The comic appears authentic based on the age-appropriate paper oxidation (yellowing) on the top edge, the specific dot matrix printing of the Bicentennial header, and the staple placement consistent with mid-70s DC production.
