Estimated Market Value
Raw (Ungraded): $10.00 - $20.00 | Graded (CGC 9.8): $150.00 - $200.00 | Estimated as-is (7.5-8.0): $25.00 - $35.00
Recent Sales
High-grade 9.8 copies have recently sold for approximately $175. Mid-grade raw copies typically sell in the $15 range as part of the complete 5-part set or individually.
Grading Recommendation
Not recommended for professional grading in current condition. The spine ticks and corner wear likely cap the grade at an 8.0 or lower. The cost of grading would exceed the market value of the book. Only recommended if it were a 9.6 or higher candidate.
Notable Features
Red foil title treatment; Direct Edition UPC; Includes venomous-themed pin-ups; Key symbiote-lore storyline that ran through the 1995 Spider-Man Super Specials.
Authentication Notes
Authentic Marvel 1990s production. Features characteristic thick cardstock cover with foil logo and glossy finish. UPC barcode is consistent with mid-90s Marvel Direct Edition formatting.
