Condition Details
Appears to be in nice condition, sealed in a modern comic bag with board, showing flat cover and sharp corners from external view, though minor spine ticks or manufacturing imperfections may be present upon closer inspection out of the bag.
Estimated Market Value
Raw value estimated around $15 - $25; Graded CGC 9.8 value estimated around $60 - $100 depending on current market heat.
Recent Sales
Recent hot demand for Absolute Batman #1 first printings has seen raw copies selling actively in the $15 to $30 range on secondary markets.
Grading Recommendation
Might be worth professional grading if aiming for a verified 9.8, but given the current high supply of modern first prints, a press and grade is generally only recommended for confirmed high-grade pristine copies to offset grading fees.
Notable Features
Part of the DC All In launch event, highly anticipated debut issue of the Absolute Universe line, features a bulkier, more brutal take on the Dark Knight.
Authentication Notes
Standard modern direct market comic features including proper barcode, cover stock, DC logo, and printing indicators consistent with authentic first-run releases.
