Condition Grade
Fine/Very Fine (CGC 7.0)

Moderate spine stress with some white color-breaking ticks. Slight blunting on the top left corner. Visible crease near the bottom right edge. General edge wear and shelf wear consistent with age. Color remains vibrant but gloss is slightly diminished.
Estimated Market Value
Raw: $10 - $20 USD; Graded (9.0+): $60 - $90 USD. Note: UK Price Variants typically command a similar value to US cents versions but have a smaller pool of specific collectors.
Recent Sales
US Newsstand versions in 7.0-8.0 range recently sold for approximately $12-$18. Graded 9.6 copies of this issue average around $100.
Grading Recommendation
Not highly recommended for professional grading unless for personal collection sentimental value. The cost of CGC/CBCS grading plus shipping generally exceeds the market value of the comic in this mid-to-high grade condition (Fine/Very Fine).
Notable Features
Features Zatanna, a popular magic-based character. This is the UK Price Variant (15p cover price instead of US 40 cents). Includes a 10-page backup story featuring Whatever Happened to the Crimson Avenger? with art by Alex Toth.
Authentication Notes
The 15p price stamp is indicative of the official UK distribution of the era. The UPC barcode is present in the lower left, which is standard for the period. Paper stock appears to be the standard newsprint used by DC in 1980; age-appropriate tanning/off-white pages are expected.
