Grading Recommendation
Moderate recommendation. While a key issue, the visible spine ticks and corner wear suggest a grade in the 7.5-8.0 range. Grading is most profitable for copies 9.0 and above, but a press could potentially raise this into an 8.5.
Notable Features
First appearance of Renet and Lord Simultaneous. Notable crossover with Dave Sim's Cerebus the Aardvark. Copper Age key issue. Features the $1.50 cover price.
Authentication Notes
Authentic first printing identifiable by the $1.50 cover price and the specific paper stock texture characteristic of 1980s Mirage releases. No signs of reproduction or counterfeiting are visible in the high-res image.
