Condition & Value

Raw: $15 - $30; Graded (CGC 4.0): $40 - $70
Recent Sales
Recent sales for mid-grade Gold Key issues from the late 1960s generally range between $20 and $50 depending on specific eye appeal and dealer pricing.
Grading Recommendation
Not recommended for professional grading unless part of a personal collection goal, as the grading and shipping costs would likely exceed the value increase for a VG 4.0 copy.
Notable Features
Classic painted photo-style cover art by George Wilson featuring a giant green alien brain creature, characteristic of Gold Key's sci-fi line from the Silver Age.
Authentication Notes
Standard Gold Key publication format with the classic gold key logo in the upper left corner, correct 12-cent price point, and standard newsprint paper aging consistent with 1968.
