Recent Sales
High-grade copies (9.0+) sell for $5,000+; however, copies in 2.0-3.0 range consistently fetch between $350 and $600 depending on the presence of the interior pin-up.
Grading Recommendation
Worth grading only if the 'Double-Page Pin-Up of Batman & Robin' is still attached inside. If missing, the book is considered incomplete, and the grade/value will drop significantly (Qualifying Green Label). A professional press and clean could improve the technical grade slightly.
Notable Features
First appearance of Poison Ivy. Includes an iconic cover by Carmine Infantino. Features a centerfold pin-up which is frequently missing from most surviving copies.
Authentication Notes
Authentic silver age 12-cent cover price. Distinctive 1960s DC checkerboard top border. Paper stock shows age-appropriate oxidation and 'newsprint' texture.
