Only worth grading if the owner believes it will hit a 9.8 grade. For a mid-to-high grade raw copy like this (approx. 8.0-8.5), the cost of grading may exceed the value added.

Notable Features

Key issue featuring the first appearance of the Throttlebots. Goldbug (the rebuilt Bumblebee) appears. Notable for the Captain America '25th Anniversary' border/headshot in the bottom left corner where the UPC usually sits for Direct Editions.

Authentication Notes

The comic appears to be a genuine 1987 Marvel production. The 'Captain America' UPC box logo correctly identifies this as a Direct Edition copy meant for comic shops rather than newsstands.
