Condition & Value
Condition Grade
Very Fine (CGC 8.0) to Very Fine+ (CGC 8.5)
Condition Details
Visible moderate vertical bending/creasing spanning across the middle right portion of the cover, minor spine roll or general wear along the spine, minor corner blunting, and slight surface scuffing.
Estimated Market Value
Raw: $3 - $6; Graded (CGC 9.2-9.6): $25 - $40, though due to the cover crease, a graded copy would likely fall lower around a Fine/Very Fine to Very Fine grade.
Recent Sales
Recent raw sales for mid-run issues of Artifacts typically range between $2 to $5 depending on platform and condition.
Grading Recommendation
Not recommended for professional grading due to the prominent vertical crease on the cover, which would severely limit the grade (likely maxing out around Fine/Very Fine 7.0), making grading costs higher than the potential value increase.
Notable Features
Features the 20th Anniversary Image Comics logo and Top Cow Universe 20th anniversary branding.
Authentication Notes
Appears authentic with proper Image Comics trade dress, correct font styling, standard modern paper stock, and accurate creative team credits matching official publication records.
