Condition & Value
Condition Grade
Fine (CGC 6.0)
Condition Details
Visible spine stress, minor color breaks, slight corner blunting at bottom left and top right, and some minor shelf wear/scuffing along the right edge. Slight yellowing of cover white areas consistent with age.
Estimated Market Value
Raw: $15 - $25; Graded (CGC 9.0+): $80 - $120
Recent Sales
Recent raw mid-grade copies sell for approximately $12-$20. High-grade (9.6+) copies have reached $150 in recent auctions.
Grading Recommendation
Not highly recommended for professional grading unless personal sentimental value exists. The cost of CGC grading/shipping likely exceeds the current market value of a mid-grade raw copy. A professional press could improve the grade slightly.
Notable Features
3rd appearance of Jack of Hearts. Early bronze age cover featuring Jack of Hearts in combat with Hulk. Contains the 30 cent price point.
Authentication Notes
Appears to be an authentic 1977 Bronze Age Marvel comic. The aging of the paper, the specific 'Marvel Comics Group' header design, and the 30-cent price mark are consistent with the era. No signs of reproduction or counterfeiting are visible from the photo.
