Part 1 of the legendary 'Whatever Happened to the Man of Tomorrow?' storyline. This is the final issue of the original Superman volume before the John Byrne Crisis on Infinite Earths reboot. It features a nostalgic farewell to the Silver Age Superman with guest appearances by Bizarro, Brainiac, Lex Luthor, and the Legion of Super-Heroes.

Minor spine stress visible along the left edge. Slight blunting on the bottom left corner. Some edge wear near the top header. Colors remain vibrant with high gloss, but minor surface scuffing is present on the back cover through the polybag.

Worth grading only if it is a 9.8 contender after a professional press. In its current 9.0 state, the cost of grading may equal the value added. A press could possibly bump it to 9.4/9.6.
