Condition & Value
Condition Grade

Condition Details
The book shows clear signs of heavy wear including significant spine stress with color-breaking ticks throughout. The top left corner near the Captain America logo is heavily blunted/creased. Substantial color-breaking creases are visible on the right side over Doctor Doom's figure. General surface scuffing, edge wear, and visible dust shadowing or tanning on the margins are present.
Estimated Market Value
Raw: $65 - $90 | Graded (3.0): $110 - $130
Recent Sales
Recent sales for mid-to-low grade raw copies range from $50 to $100 depending on eye appeal. Graded 4.0 copies have recently settled around $150.
Grading Recommendation
Not recommended for professional grading unless for personal preservation. The costs of CGC/CBCS submission, shipping, and insurance would nearly equal the market value of a 3.0 copy. A high-quality Mylar bag and board are sufficient for this grade.
Notable Features
First meeting of the 'Cap's Kooky Quartet' Avengers lineup and Doctor Doom. Notable for being an early Silver Age cross-over event between Marvel's two premier teams.
Authentication Notes
The comic appears to be an authentic 1966 original. The 12-cent price point, the 'IND' indicia marking, and the characteristic paper aging/oxidation are consistent with Marvel's production standards of the mid-1960s.
