Comic Description

Condition & Value
Condition Grade
Good/Very Good (CGC 3.0)
Condition Details
Significant spine wear with numerous color-breaking stress lines; heavy creasing on the left edge; corner blunting and rounding on all four corners; surface wear and scuffing visible through the polybag; minor edge tears likely along the top and bottom edges.
Estimated Market Value
Raw: $15 - $25; Graded (CGC 3.0): $45 - $60
Recent Sales
A copy in 3.0 condition sold for approximately $18 on eBay recently. Higher grade copies (9.0+) can fetch over $250.
Grading Recommendation
Not recommended for grading. The cost of CGC/CBCS submission (fees plus shipping) would likely exceed the final market value of a 3.0 copy. It is better kept as a raw reader copy or for personal collection.
Notable Features
First appearance of the Ten-Eyed Man. Neal Adams cover art. This issue is a notable Bronze Age key for the debut of a unique, albeit often lampooned, Batman villain.
Authentication Notes
The comic appears authentic with correct 15-cent price point for the 1970 era. The aging of the paper and print quality are consistent with DC's production standards for that period. No signs of reproduction or counterfeiting are visible.
