Condition & Value
Condition Grade
Fine+ (CGC 6.5)
Condition Details
Visible color-breaking spine stress ticks (at least 3-4 along the left edge). Notable corner blunting on the top right corner. Small white paper chip/tear at the top right edge. Minor edge wear along the bottom. The cover gloss appears intact, but there is slight vertical alignment/miscut visible on the left edge.
Estimated Market Value
Raw: $5.00 - $10.00; Graded (9.8): $60.00 - $80.00
Recent Sales
Low-grade copies frequently sell for $2-4; high-grade raw copies (NM) reach $12. Recent CGC 9.8 sales averaged around $75 in 2023.
Grading Recommendation
Not recommended for professional grading. The fair market value of a mid-grade copper-age war comic does not justify the $25-$40 grading fees. It is best enjoyed as a raw collectible.
Notable Features
Classic Joe Kubert cover art. Includes DC's 'Where the Action Is!' branding. Features the list of Easy Co. members including Little Sure Shot, Wild Man, and Ice Cream Soldier. Non-key issue but highly collectible for Kubert cover enthusiasts.
Authentication Notes
Standard 1982 newsprint paper stock. Color registration on the DC logo and price box appears consistent with period-correct printing. No signs of restoration or counterfeiting.
