Condition & Value

Condition Grade

Very Fine- (CVC 7.5)

Condition Details

Visible price sticker on top right corner of the cover. Significant spine stress marks and color-breaking ticks visible along the spine. Slight blunting on the bottom left corner. Minor surface wear and some yellowing along the right edge consistent with age and storage without backing boards. Gloss remains decent but is impacted by the sticker residue/presence.

Estimated Market Value

Raw: $5 - $10; Graded (CGC 7.5): $35 - $45; Graded (CGC 9.8): $120+.

Recent Sales

Recent raw copies in similar condition average $7. High-grade 9.8 copies have sold in the range of $130-$150. Given the sticker and spine wear, this copy is on the lower end of the mid-grade spectrum.

Grading Recommendation

Not recommended for professional grading. The cost of CGC/CBCS submission (approx. $30-$50 with shipping) would exceed the market value of a 7.5 grade. This is a common copper age book best kept as a reader copy or for a low-cost run filler.

Notable Features

Features the 'Round Robin' crossover event. Guest appearances by Night Thrasher, Nova, Moon Knight, and The Punisher. Part of the iconic Mark Bagley run on Amazing Spider-Man. Standard Direct Edition with UPC barcode.

Authentication Notes

Authentic 1991 Marvel production. Paper stock is standard for the period (semi-glossy cover with newsprint-style interiors). Ink density and alignment are consistent with late 20th-century mass printing techniques. No signs of restoration or facsimile reprinting detected.
