Condition & Value
Condition Grade
Near Mint (CGC 9.4)
Condition Details
The comic appears to be in very high-grade condition. Based on the image through the polybag, there is a minor blunting on the bottom left corner and a potential tiny spine tick near the top staple area. The cover gloss and centering are excellent. Final grade would depend on an out-of-bag inspection for back cover scuffing.
Estimated Market Value
Raw: $6.00 - $10.00 / Graded (CGC 9.8): $45.00 - $60.00
Recent Sales
This is a very recent release with raw copies selling consistently at cover price ($5.99) or slightly above. Graded sales are not yet established for this specific variant.
Grading Recommendation
Not recommended for professional grading unless for personal collection. As a modern monthly book with high print runs, the cost of grading ($30+) exceeds the current market value of the comic. If it were to receive a 9.8, the profit margin would be thin after shipping and fees.
Notable Features
First issue of the Bizarro Year Have one-shot. Features a variant cover by Fernando Pasarin that pays homage to classic Superman imagery but inverted. Includes the DC 'Ages 13+' rating and a $5.99 cover price.
Authentication Notes
Authentic modern DC publication. Features a standard barcode with '00131' suffix indicating issue 1, variant cover C (3rd cover including incentives), and first printing. Paper stock is the modern high-gloss variety.
