Visible color-breaking spine stress/ticks along the left edge. Minor corner blunting on the top right. Slight yellowing/tanning on the white cover background. Minor horizontal crease near the bottom right edge. General edge wear consistent with age.

Estimated Market Value

Raw: $3 - $8 / Graded (CGC 9.8): $45 - $60

Recent Sales

Ungraded copies typically sell for approximately $5. High-grade slabbed copies have seen recent sales in the $50 range due to the series' collectibility among completionists.

Grading Recommendation

Not recommended for professional grading. The market value of a mid-to-high grade copy does not offset the costs of shipping and grading fees. Best kept as a reader copy or in a bag and board for personal collection.

Notable Features

Direct Edition with barcode. Reprints key 1980s Amazing Spider-Man stories. Notable for the cover appearance of Slyde and the 1990s Ron Lim cover art style. Features the 'Marvel Comics' corner box with a classic Spider-Man icon.

Authentication Notes

The comic appears to be an authentic 1994 copper-age printing. Gloss levels are consistent with typical Marvel Tales paper stock of the era. UPC barcode area is clear and correctly formatted for a Direct Edition.
