Visible spine stress marks (ticks), some of which break color. Minor blunting on the upper and lower right corners. Small color-breaking crease on the mid-right edge. General shelf wear and slight surface scuffing on the red background areas. The white border shows very light oxidation.

Recent Sales
Raw copies in similar mid-to-high grade recently sold for $25.00 on eBay. CGC 9.8 copies routinely sell for over $400.00, but lower grades see a significant drop in premium.
Grading Recommendation
Only worth professional grading if the comic can achieve a 9.6 or higher after a press and clean. At its current estimated grade of 7.5, the grading fees would likely exceed the value increase. A high-quality press might remove some non-color-breaking surface indentations.

Authentication Notes
Consistent with authentic 1980s Marvel paper stock and printing methods. The Direct Edition Spider-Man head, price marking (60c), and corner box graphics are all correctly positioned and rendered with period-appropriate ink density.
