Condition & Value
Condition Grade
Near Mint- (CGC 9.2)
Condition Details
The cover shows excellent gloss and vibrant color. There is very minor spine stress visible along the left edge. Corners appear sharp, though the bottom right shows a tiny hint of blunting. Minimal surface wear suggests it has been kept in a bag and board.
Estimated Market Value
Raw: $20 - $35; Graded (9.8): $120 - $150
Recent Sales
Recent raw copies have sold between $15 and $40 depending on condition. 9.8 graded copies have seen a slight uptick due to Danzig/Frazetta collector crossover interest.
Grading Recommendation
Potential candidate for grading if it can hit a 9.8. At an estimated 9.2, the grading fees may outweigh the value increase. A clean and press could potentially elevate this toward a 9.6 or 9.8.
Notable Features
First appearance of Death Dealer in his own Verotik title. Features the legendary 1973 painting by Frank Frazetta as the cover art. Notable for being written by Misfits/Danzig frontman Glenn Danzig.
Authentication Notes
The high-gloss cover stock and deep black/red ink density are consistent with Verotik's mid-90s production values. No signs of reproduction or counterfeiting observed.
