Condition Details
Heavy overall wear, heavy spine stress and rolling, heavy corner blunting and creasing, noticeable surface dirt, tanning/yellowing of pages, edge chipping, and a white blank rectangular area where the original UPC box is located indicating a newsstand variant or potential publisher remainder mark/stamping.

Recent Sales
Recent raw sales for Star Wars #9 in lower grades typically range between $15 and $35 depending on exact defects.
Grading Recommendation
Not recommended for professional grading (CGC/CBCS) due to the heavy wear and low estimated grade. The grading and slab fees would exceed the total value of the book in this condition.
Notable Features
35-cent price variant edition. Features the second appearance of Jaxxon, Amaiza Footsore, and the Cloud Riders, highly collectible among vintage Bronze Age Star Wars collectors.
Authentication Notes
Standard vintage newsstand copy characteristics, correct 35-cent price box, authentic paper stock and color registration typical of 1978 Marvel publications with no obvious modern counterfeiting signs.
