Condition & Value
Condition Grade
Fine (CGC 6.0) to Fine/Very Fine (CGC 7.0)
Condition Details
Visible moderate spine stress with color-breaking ticks. Significant corner blunting on the bottom right and top right. Minor surface wear and edge whitening along the top edge. The cover appears to have a slight vertical wave indicative of non-bagged storage.
Estimated Market Value
Raw: $15 - $25; Graded (9.0+): $80 - $120
Recent Sales
Recent raw copies in similar condition have sold between $18 and $22 on eBay. 9.8 graded copies consistently reach $250+.
Grading Recommendation
Not worth grading in current condition. Unless the comic is a 9.6 or 9.8, the cost of grading often exceeds the market value. Pressing could improve the grade by removing waves, but the color-breaking spine ticks are permanent flaws.
Notable Features
Double-sized issue. Final issue of Frank Miller's initial landmark run. Features the resurrection of Elektra. Iconic cover art by Frank Miller.
Authentication Notes
Authentic 1983 newsprint stock. The cover gloss and color saturation of the 'Neon' palette are consistent with original Marvel printings from this era. Staple placement and UPC alignment are standard.
