The comic is enclosed in a protective plastic bag and backing board. Minor corner blunting, slight spine roll, and some light spine stress lines are visible. The cover retains decent gloss and color vibrancy, but there are handwritten signatures on the bottom right of the cover.
Estimated Market Value
Raw value estimated between $2 to $10 due to high print run and signature provenance. Graded value not significantly higher due to low base demand.
Recent Sales
Wetworks #13 typically sells in the $1 to $5 range raw in standard comic back issue bins.
Grading Recommendation
Not recommended for professional grading (CGC/CBCS). The grading fees and shipping costs would exceed the total market value of the book, even with signatures.
Notable Features
Features cover artwork and signatures by co-creator Whilce Portacio. Direct edition copy with barcode box replaced by image logo.
Authentication Notes
Signatures appear to be in marker on the cover, typical of convention sketches or creator signings from the mid-1990s. Standard newsprint paper and color processing consistent with 1995 Image Comics publishing standards.
