Condition & Value
Condition Grade
Very Good (CGC 4.0)
Condition Details
Obvious spine roll, moderate to heavy spine stress ticks with color breakage, corner blunting and creasing on top and bottom corners, heavy yellowing and tanning of the newsprint cover, edge chipping along the oversized borders, and a few minor surface creases.
Estimated Market Value
Raw: $15 - $30. Graded (CGC 4.0): $40 - $60.
Recent Sales
Recent raw sales for oversized treasury editions in mid-to-lower grades generally range between $15 and $25 depending on platform and exact condition.
Grading Recommendation
Not recommended for professional grading due to the lower grade condition (VG 4.0) and high cost of oversized book encapsulation relative to the market value.
Notable Features
Oversized treasury format, $2.00 cover price, featuring multi-hero team-ups with classic silver/bronze age character depictions.
Authentication Notes
Appears authentic with standard paper stock, correct coloring, and treasury dimensions typical of late 1970s Marvel publications.
