Comic Description

The story features appearances by Guy Gardner and focuses on the psychological pressure put on heroes during the Post-Crisis era.

Condition & Value

Condition Grade

Very Fine- (CGC 7.5)

Condition Details

Visible moderate spine stressors (stress ticks) along the left edge, several color-breaking. Minor blunting at the top and bottom left corners. Slight surface scuffing visible under glare and minor thumb creasing near the right edge. Slight rounding of corners. The plastic bag obscures fine detail, but the book appears flat with decent gloss.

Estimated Market Value

Raw: $5 - $10 / Graded (9.8): $70 - $100

Recent Sales

Raw copies in similar Mid-High grade range typically sell for $6 to $12 on platforms like eBay. Graded 9.8 copies have recently sold in the $85 range.

Grading Recommendation

Not recommended for professional grading. The costs of grading (shipping, fees) would exceed the market value of the book in this estimated condition (7.5 - 8.0). This book only yields high returns at a speculative 9.8 grade, which this copy likely won't reach due to spine ticks.

Notable Features

Legends Chapter 2. Newsstand edition (indicated by the barcode in the lower-left corner). Contains DC bonus insert 'The Outsiders' comic.

Authentication Notes

The comic appears authentic with correct 75-cent price point for the era, standard newsstand barcode, and characteristic paper aging for the mid-1980s DC stock. No signs of reproduction or counterfeiting are present.
