Estimated Market Value
Raw: $3 - $8; Graded (9.8): $40 - $60
Recent Sales
Recent raw copies have sold for approximately $2-5 on eBay. CGC 9.8 copies occasionally sell in the $50 range depending on buyer interest in Amalgam keys.
Grading Recommendation
Not recommended for professional grading unless for personal collection sentimental value. The cost of grading (approx $25-35 + shipping) outweighs the current market value of the book in this condition.
Notable Features
Features multiple 'all-new' Amalgam character designs. Significant for being a rare co-published work between Marvel and DC. Includes a UPC barcode identifying it as a Direct Edition copy. Notable for featuring the Amalgam versions of Thor, Superman, and Captain America.
Authentication Notes
Appears authentic with correct 1998 era printing characteristics including glossy cover stock and standard staple placement. The dual logo (Marvel and DC) and the specific UPC suffix '04' correspond to the first printing of the fourth issue.
