Moderate spine stress with color-breaking ticks. Light corner blunting on the bottom left and top right. Minor surface scuffing visible on the dark areas of the cover. Slight edge wear along the top.

Raw copies in similar condition consistently sell for $8-$12. CGC 9.8 copies have recently sold in the $130 range.
Grading Recommendation
Not recommended for professional grading unless it is a personal favorite. The current estimated grade (approx. 8.0) does not yield a significant return over grading and shipping costs. A press and clean might improve the grade to 8.5, but not to the 9.6/9.8 range required for high investment value.

Authentication Notes
Authentic 1980s Marvel newsprint stock. Ink density and registration are consistent with 1987 production copper-age standards. No signs of reproduction or counterfeiting.
