Visible spine stress-marks (ticks) that break the color on the left edge. Mild corner blunting on the bottom right. Slight cover roll. Minimal edge wear on the right side. Paper color appears off-white to cream based on the age.

Estimated Market Value

Raw: $10 – $20; Graded (CGC 9.8): $90 – $130; Estimated (CGC 7.5): $30 – $40

Recent Sales

Recent raw copies in similar condition sold for approximately $12-15 on eBay. Graded 9.8 copies have recently sold in the $110 range.

Grading Recommendation

Not recommended for professional grading. The costs of grading ($30+) would likely exceed the final market value of a mid-to-high grade copy (7.5-8.5). It is best kept in a bag and board as a reader or collector copy.

Notable Features

Features the Incredible Hulk. This is the Newsstand Edition (denoted by the barcode in the bottom left). It features the early 'Black Suit' Spider-Man logo in the corner box.

Authentication Notes

Consistent with 1980s Marvel newsstand production: newsprint interior, matte cover finish, and correct staple placement. No signs of restoration or counterfeiting.
