Recent Sales

High-grade copies (NM) of the Archie mini-series sell for $100+, but lower-grade newsstand copies like this regularly sell between $12 and $18 on eBay.

Grading Recommendation

Not recommended for professional grading. The cost of CGC/CBCS grading fees and shipping would exceed the market value of the book in this condition. Recommended as a 'reader copy' or for personal collection in a protective sleeve.

Notable Features

Newsstand edition with UPC; Second issue of the long-running Archie TMNT continuity; Original 1988 mini-series that preceded the regular ongoing series; Cover art by the original Turtle creators.

Authentication Notes

Authentic 1988 newsstand printing. Paper aging (tanning) is consistent with Archie's newsprint stock from the late 80s. UPC barcode and price point ($1.00) are correct for the period.
