This issue introduces a reimagined Green Lantern (Sojourner 'Jo' Mullein) in the Absolute Universe, a world without the traditional support structures of the main DC continuity. Jo is a citizen of Earth who finds herself with a powered-up ring but no Green Lantern Corps to guide her.
