Comic Description
This issue continues the crossover between Rob Liefeld's Glory and the character Celestine. The story involves the titular characters battling mystical forces and the Highlord. It features typical 1990s 'Bad Girl' art styling prominent during the Image Comics era.
Condition & Value
Condition Grade
Very Good + (CGC 4.5)
Condition Details
Visible heavy curling and waviness to the left edge (spine area). Multiple color-breaking spine stresses and ticks. Significant corner blunting and rounded corners, especially at the bottom left. Scuffing/rubbing wear across the cover gloss. The book appears to have been stored in a damp or cramped environment causing structural deformation.
Estimated Market Value
$1.00 - $5.00 (Raw); $25.00 - $35.00 (CGC 9.8 high estimate)
Recent Sales
Low demand for mid-grade issues of 90s Maximum Press titles. Similar issues typically sell in dollar bins or lots. High-grade (NM+) copies occasionally sell for $10-15 but are rarely professionally graded.
Grading Recommendation
Not recommended for grading. The cost of professional grading (CGC/CBCS) would exceed the market value of the book. The physical condition is significantly below the 'Near Mint' threshold required for modern back issues to be viable investments.
Notable Features
Features characters created by Rob Liefeld. Typical 90s 'Premium' paper stock and high-gloss cover finish. No barcode (Direct Market distribution).
Authentication Notes
Authentic 1996 production. Notable for the 'Maximum Press' logo which was an imprint of Image Comics focused on Liefeld's non-Extreme Studios titles. The paper stock shows typical age-appropriate oxidation on the inner edges.
