Condition & Value

Condition Grade

Fine (CGC 6.0)

Condition Details

Visible color-breaking spine stress/ticks; significant corner wear and blunting at the top and bottom left; edge wear along the bottom margin; slight surface scuffing and minor creasing on the top right corner; color rubbing/soiling visible on the white credits box.

Estimated Market Value

Raw: $5.00 - $10.00; Graded (CGC 9.8): $60.00 - $80.00

Recent Sales

Recent raw copies in Mid-Grade (6.0-7.5) have sold for $3-$6; High-grade 9.8 slabs typically sell for $75. This issue is common due to high 90s print runs.

Grading Recommendation

Not recommended for professional grading. In its current condition (estimated 6.0), the cost of grading fees would exceed the market value of the book. Pressing might improve the grade slightly, but not enough to reach a profitable 9.8 tier.

Notable Features

Knightfall Part 15. Iconic Kelley Jones cover featuring Bane and Catwoman. Includes 'The System' logo. Direct edition with UPC.

Authentication Notes

The item appears to be an authentic first printing from 1993. Print registration and paper stock are consistent with DC Comics manufacturing standards from the 'Knightfall' era.
