Comic Description

This issue is a reprint of the landmark 'The Amazing Spider-Man' #121 (1973). It features the iconic battle between Spider-Man and the Green Goblin (Norman Osborn) resulting in the tragic death of Peter Parker's girlfriend, Gwen Stacy. This is considered one of the most important stories in the Bronze Age of comics.

Grading Recommendation

Not recommended for professional grading. The costs of grading (CGC/CBCS) and shipping would exceed the current market value of the comic in its 6.0 condition. It is a reprint and primarily of reader value unless in 9.8 condition.

Notable Features

Reprint of 'The Night Gwen Stacy Died'; Marvel 25th Anniversary border around the price box; Newsstand UPC version; cover homage to Gil Kane's original ASM #121 cover.

Authentication Notes

Authentic 1980s Marvel newsstand production. Paper stock is standard newsprint of the era with expected aging. Binding and staple placement appear consistent with factory standards.
