The comic is still inside its original protective bag with header tape, showing wrinkles and crinkles strictly on the outer polybag rather than the book itself. The underlying book appears well-preserved with sharp corners and clean edges, though minor spine stress and a slight corner bend at the upper right might be present upon unbagging.

Recent Sales
Recent online sales for mid-to-high grade raw copies of Starman #18 generally range between $3 and $10 depending on platform and shipping.
Grading Recommendation
Not generally worth the cost of professional third-party grading unless part of a complete run submission, as the market value for this specific issue raw is low and grading fees would exceed potential returns.
Notable Features
Standard direct edition copy featuring the distinctive Tom Lyle starburst cover design and title logo.
Authentication Notes
Appears authentic with standard DC Comics printing characteristics of the late 1980s/early 1990s, correct cover stock, and intact original polybag packaging.
