Condition & Value
Condition Grade
Near Mint (CGC 9.4)
Condition Details
The comic appears to be in excellent condition with high gloss and white pages. There is very minor blunting on the top left corner and extremely light spine stress near the staples, which is typical for comics of this era. Edges appear sharp and color is vibrant.
Estimated Market Value
Raw: $3 - $8; Graded (CGC 9.8): $40 - $60
Recent Sales
Recent raw copies have sold for approximately $1.00 to $5.00 in bulk lots or dollar bins. High-grade graded copies (9.8) occasionally reach $50, but demand is low.
Grading Recommendation
Not recommended for professional grading. The cost of the grading service (approx $25-$40) exceeds the market value of the book. While it is a premiere issue, the New Universe line is generally not highly sought after by collectors.
Notable Features
First appearance of Justice and the Far Place. This issue launched the Justice series as part of Marvel's 20th Anniversary 'New Universe' initiative. Features a 'newspaper style' cover design.

Authentic 1980s Marvel stock. Features standard glossy cover of the period, the characteristic 75-cent price point for the era, and the 'Direct Edition' Barcode layout consistent with 1986 publication.
