Condition & Value

Condition Grade

Near Mint (CGC 9.4)

Condition Details

Minor spine stress visible along the left edge; slight blunting on the top right corner; some surface scuffing on the black foil area which is highly prone to fingerprints and micro-scratches.

Estimated Market Value

Raw: $35.00 - $55.00; Graded (CGC 9.8): $120.00 - $160.00

Recent Sales

Raw copies have recently moved between $40 and $50; 9.8 graded copies have stabilized around $140 after an initial launch peak.

Grading Recommendation

Only worth grading if the comic is deemed a 9.8 candidate. This copy appears to have some micro-stress on the spine; modern foil covers are difficult to grade. A 'Press and Clean' is highly recommended due to the foil surface.

Notable Features

1:100 Ratio Incentive Variant; First appearance of Marilyn Moonlight; First issue of the Dawn of DC Superman run; Iconic Frank Quitely artwork reminiscent of 'All-Star Superman'.

Authentication Notes

Genuine silver foil logo and reflective surface properties consistent with DC's 1:100 incentive production for the Dawn of DC initiative.
