Comic Description
Post-Crisis on Infinite Earths one-shot. The JSA members (including Flash, Green Lantern, Hawkman) enter Limbo to fight an eternal battle against Surtur to prevent Ragnarok, effectively removing them from active DC continuity at the time.
Condition & Value
Condition Grade
Very Fine- (CGC 7.5)
Condition Details
Visible color-breaking spine stress marks (ticks) along the left edge. Minor corner blunting on the bottom right. Slight surface wear visible on the black borders. Edgewear on the right side. Colors remain vibrant and centring appears good.
Estimated Market Value
Raw: $10 - $20; Graded (9.8): $75 - $110
Recent Sales
Recent raw sales average between $8 and $15 depending on condition. 9.8 graded copies have recently fluctuated between $85 and $125.
Grading Recommendation
Not recommended for professional grading unless a personal favorite. The cost of grading (approx $40-60 with shipping) exceeds the market value of a mid-to-high grade raw copy. A 9.8 candidate would be worth it, but this copy shows too much spine wear.
Notable Features
68-page prestige style 'Special'. Features the disappearance of the Golden Age heroes from the main DC timeline. Key historical issue for JSA fans transitional period.
Authentication Notes
Authentic 1980s DC stock. Known 'Baxter' paper type used for prestige format typically resists yellowing better than standard newsstand books. No signs of restoration visible.
