Condition & Value
Condition Grade
Very Good (CGC 4.0)
Condition Details
The comic is sealed inside its original polybag, which is heavily wrinkled and shows significant dirt accumulation and wear on the plastic. The book itself shows signs of storage wear, potential blunted corners, and spine rolling inside the bag, though exact book inspection is limited by the sealed packaging.
Estimated Market Value
Raw: $5 - $15; Graded (CGC 8.0-9.0): $30 - $50
Recent Sales
Recent sales for 1990s Archie Hanna-Barbera books in raw condition generally range between $5 and $10 depending on platform and buyer demand.
Grading Recommendation
Not worth professional grading as the grading and slab fees would exceed the market value of the comic. Keeping it sealed in its original polybag might retain novelty value for specific collectors.
Notable Features
First issue of the series featuring Atom Ant and Secret Squirrel together, Direct Edition barcode box, sealed in original publisher polybag.
Authentication Notes
Appears authentic with standard 1990s Archie Comics layout, official branding, and original publisher polybag with barcode box on the cover.
