A high-quality facsimile reprint of the landmark 1962 issue. It features the origin and first appearance of Spider-Man (Peter Parker), as well as the first appearances of Aunt May and Uncle Ben. It also includes the death of Uncle Ben.

The comic appears to be in very clean condition inside its protective sleeve. It shows sharp corners and a flat spine. Slight blunting on the bottom left corner and minor surface scuffing on the silver border are the only visible defects.

Recent sales for high-grade raw copies range from $25 to $40. CGC 9.8 copies have recently sold for approximately $100.

Generally not recommended for grading unless you believe it is a flawless 9.8. The cost of grading ($35-$50) often exceeds the value of the book for mid-to-high grades. A press and clean could ensure a 9.6 or 9.8 result.
