Comic Description
This issue launches the Absolute Universe, a new continuity reimagining Batman. In this world, Bruce Wayne is a working-class city engineer rather than a billionaire socialite. He lacks the traditional resources of the main-series Batman, utilizing a more brutal, massive physique and DIY-inspired gadgets to fight a specialized version of the Party Animal gang.
