Grading Recommendation
Worth grading if a high-quality press and cleaning service is used. A professional clean would significantly improve the eye appeal of the yellow background. While currently appearing to be a 4.0, a press could potentially push it to a 4.5 or 5.0.
Notable Features
Featured in the 'Batman Slapping Robin' internet meme. Key 'Imaginary Story'. First time Batman and Superman are depicted as true enemies. Silver Age DC key issue.
Authentication Notes
Authentic Silver Age 12-cent copy. Paper stock and ink saturation appear consistent with 1965 DC production. No signs of restoration visible from the cover image.
