Condition & Value

Good (CGC 2.0)

Condition Details

Significant damage including a major vertical tear/fold on the top right edge, heavy blunting and peeling on corners, severe spine stress and creasing along the left edge, and general surface wear/soiling throughout.

Estimated Market Value

Raw (Low Grade): $2 - $5; Graded (9.8): $250 - $400

Recent Sales

Recent sales for low-grade raw copies range from $3 to $8. High-grade CGC 9.8 copies have recently sold for approximately $350.

Grading Recommendation

Not recommended for professional grading. The significant physical damage (tears and heavy creasing) would result in a very low grade, making the cost of grading higher than the market value of the slabbed book.

1st appearance of the A-Team in Marvel Comics. 1st Collector's Item Issue. Direct Edition identified by the Spider-Man head in the UPC box.

Authentication Notes

Authentic Marvel newsprint and ink from the early 1980s; 60 cent cover price is consistent with 1984 Marvel releases.
