Recent Sales
Recent raw sales for standard variants hover around $20. Signed copies by Mike Mayhew command a premium depending on the authentication status.
Grading Recommendation
Worth grading only if the signature can be authenticated by CGC (Witnessed/Yellow Signature Series label). Without verified witness authentication, the cost of grading may outweigh the value increase for a modern variant.
Notable Features
Legacy numbering #965, features an exclusive variant cover art by Mike Mayhew with a partial sketch style, and includes a signature on the cover.
Authentication Notes
The signature on the cover appears in gold marker. Without a witness from a grading service like CGC or a trusted COA, it will receive a green (qualified) or purple (slawed/restored/unsigned verified) label if submitted without witnessed verification, though it looks consistent with Mike Mayhew's signature style.
