Comic Description
Part 3 of the 'Yesterday's X-Men' storyline. The issue features the X-Men (Storm, Colossus, Iceman, Jean Grey, Archangel) confronting the Sentinels and the Hellfire Club. It is a significant early appearance of Bishop, who is featured prominently in the corner box art and cover teasers.
Condition & Value
Condition Grade
Very Fine- (CGC 7.5)
Condition Details
Visible spine ticks along the left edge, several of which break color. There is a noticeable light crease/bend in the bottom right corner of the front cover. The top right corner shows minor blunting. Cover gloss appears decent but has slight surface wear and possible fingerprinting near the center-left margin.
Estimated Market Value
Raw: $5.00 - $10.00; Graded (9.8): $60.00 - $80.00
Recent Sales
Raw copies in similar condition consistently sell for $4-$8 on eBay. High-grade 9.8 slabs generally sell under $100 due to high supply.
Grading Recommendation
Not recommended for professional grading. The comic is a common modern-age issue and the visible condition issues (spine ticks and corner corner crease) would likely cap the grade at a 7.5 or 8.0, making the cost of grading higher than the market value of the slab.
Notable Features
Features the 30th Anniversary 'The Fantastic Four' corner box stamp honoring 1961-1991. Early Bishop appearance. Direct Edition (indicated by the Spider-Man mask in the UPC box).
Authentication Notes
The item appears to be an authentic 1992 newsprint-era Marvel comic. Paper aging (slight yellowing) is consistent with the era and stock. Printing dots and color saturation match authentic 1990s Marvel production runs.
