Comic Description
A significant 'key' issue in the black suit saga. Spider-Man visits the Fantastic Four after learning that his new black suit is actually a sentient alien symbiote. Reed Richards uses a sonic blaster to remove the suit from Peter Parker, who subsequently wears a Human Torch-themed 'Amazing Bag-Man' costume to get home.

Estimated Market Value
Raw: $30 - $45; Graded (CGC 7.5-8.0): $75 - $95
Recent Sales
Recent raw copies in similar mid-to-high grade condition have sold between $35 and $50. CGC 9.8 copies command significantly higher premiums ($300+), but mid-grades remain stable.
Grading Recommendation
Not recommended for professional grading in current state. The cost of grading plus shipping would likely exceed the value increase. The book is a mid-high grade; a professional press and clean might bump the grade slightly, but it is better suited for a raw collection.
Notable Features
Critical 'key' issue featuring the first time Peter Parker is separated from the alien symbiote. Iconic cover art by Ron Frenz. Features the Fantastic Four and the first 'appearance' of the Bombastic Bag-Man costume.
Authentication Notes
The book appears authentic. It features the standard Marvel mid-80s newsprint interior with a semi-gloss cover. The logo alignment and color registration for the magenta and yellow plates appear consistent with 1984 printing standards.
