Condition & Value
Condition Grade
Very Good (CGC 4.0)
Condition Details
The book suffers from severe creasing, potential water damage or improper storage causing the cover to warp and lift off from the binding line, edge wear along the right side, and general handling wear.
Estimated Market Value
Raw: $2 - $5, Graded (CGC 4.0): Not economically viable for professional grading.
Recent Sales
Commonly found in dollar bins or valued under $5 raw due to high print runs and common modern book availability.
Grading Recommendation
Not worth grading. The grading and encapsulation fees would vastly exceed the total market value of the comic in this condition.
Notable Features
First issue of the Jeph Loeb and Frank Cho miniseries featuring the Ultimate Universe iterations of classic Marvel heroes.
Authentication Notes
Appears authentic with standard Marvel modern cardstock cover gloss and printing techniques, though heavily damaged.
